Product Safety Information

RC Pit Lane sells hobby-grade radio-controlled models, components, tools, chemicals, batteries, and accessories. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these products are intended for hobbyists ages 14 and older and are not toys.

Hobby-grade RC products may require assembly, soldering, programming, specialized tools, and technical knowledge. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, warnings, operating limits, and maintenance requirements. Use appropriate protective equipment and disconnect batteries before installation, adjustment, or maintenance.

Batteries and Electrical Products

Lithium-polymer batteries and electrical components can cause fire, explosion, burns, or equipment damage if improperly charged, installed, stored, or handled. Use only compatible equipment within the manufacturer’s specifications. Never charge batteries unattended, and discontinue use of any swollen, damaged, leaking, or unusually hot battery.

Chemicals

Oils, greases, adhesives, threadlock, cleaners, and other chemical products must be used according to their labels and Safety Data Sheets. Keep chemicals away from children and pets, avoid ingestion and unnecessary skin or eye contact, and use appropriate ventilation and protective equipment.

Report a Safety Concern

Stop using a product immediately if it appears unsafe, defective, damaged, or subject to a recall. Contact RC Pit Lane at help@rcpitlane.com with the product name, part number, order number, photographs, and a description of the issue. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.
