This is an RC Maker Carbon Topdeck Flex Restriction Insert for the Yokomo BD11

The BD11 topdeck features an oval cutout to allow side-to-side flex of the topdeck which is not optimal in all conditions. Our insert fits in this oval space and fixes the topdeck at one pivot point with only a very small amount of movement as to prevent binding. 

The insert fits both the standard topdeck, and our optional SlimFlex & CentraFlex Topdecks which are also sold together with the insert. 

It installs from the top and can be shimmed to your desired height to allow as much upwards flex movement of the topdeck as desired. This means that it can also be adjusted to be optimal for 1.6mm topdecks. We recommend using a 1mm spacer for 2mm, and 0.5mm for 1.6mm topdecks.

When installing the insert, ensure it is tightened so that the oval is not jamming inside the topdeck. The topdeck should move downwards freely without restriction from the insert.
